THE SOUL SISTER
Ley made several guest appearances on the Channel 4 TV series 'People Get Ready' and began to concentrate on a solo career in Gospel music in the late 80’s. Her move towards a solo career was rewarded with the British Gospel Association voting her as BEST NEWCOMER.
Ley has been a featured guest vocalist with THE LONDON COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR (LCGC) and has provided support to two-stage productions: 'The Dream' a musical about Martin Luther King and the musical 'Creation'.
In the early 90’s Ley spent several months travelling throughout the United States touring as a British Female Gospel Artist. She had fantastic opportunities to work with exceptional teachers and veterans in gospel music such as the late Albertina Walker also and Iris Stevenson who is the main inspiration behind 'SISTER ACT 2' On returning from the States Ley was asked to be the supporting artist for America's top gospel recording duo BEBE and CECE WINANS.

In 1996 Ley was able to take part in Britain's most prestigious event of the year - THE ROYAL VARIETY SHOW, in the presence of His ROYAL HIGHNESS the PRINCE of WALES.
Ley Adewole has now made her home since 2000 in Falmouth, Cornwall where she lives with her husband and 3 children.
She is the lead vocalist for Cornwall's premier retro soul band 'THE GRACE NOTES’, She is the Choir Director of FALMOUTH COMMUNITY GOSPEL CHOIR (FCGC) which was established out of a weekly Gospel Workshop that is still running and she is a highly sort after Vocal Coach within Cornwall.
Leys' engagements extend to weddings, charity events, corporate functions, celebration parties, festivals, hotels, restaurants and gospel music workshops at events and in schools.
